Mist Hashira

Remember that boiling anger. [...] Even if I lose my memories, my body will remember that anger that will not leave me until I die. It's why I trained so hard that I vomited blood to destroy demons. And more... to eradicate them!

About Muichiro Tokito

Let's talk about Muichiro:

The Mist Hashira

Muichiro is an easily distracted person who can't seem to concentrate on anything and seems to be lost in contemplation all the time. He is impassive and occasionally obtuse, thinking only for himself and acting solely on reason, never allowing emotions to influence him, giving the impression that he is apathetic and uncaring. But Tanjiro Kamado could tell that Muichiro wasn't intentionally cold, because he didn't give out any hate.

Despite his generally carefree and indifferent manner, he has demonstrated the ability to become serious when necessary and is committed to his role as Mist Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. On the other hand, he seems to have a cold and haughty side. This is demonstrated by the way he angrily shakes down Kotetsu and calls him foolish, claiming that his time as a Hashira was more significant than his own and that the swordsmiths' only job was to create weapons. Despite this, Muichiro appears to have a great deal of respect for Kagaya Ubuyashiki, which is probably why he doesn't seem indifferent to him.

Muichiro's Trivia:

The kanji for "time" (時とき toki?) in Muichiro's surname has both the Kan-on'yomi reading for "transparent, permeate" (透とう tō?) and the Kun'yomi reading for "time."

The Go-on'yomi for "nothingness" (無む mu? ), "one" (渀いち ichi?) and "son" (郎ろう rō?) are all present in his first name.
Muichiro's first name, "nothingness" (無む mu? ), has the distinction of being written with the same kanji as the term "infinity" (無む限げん mugen?).

This is because the initial kanji of Yuichiro's name, which means "existence," is written with the same meaning as "nothingness" (無む mu?).

In addition to having identical twin siblings, Muichiro and Kokushibo also have the same last name, Michikatsu, which begins with the letter "M". It so happens that Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the younger twin brother of Michikatsu, and Yuichiro, the elder twin brother of Muichiro, have the same initial "Y".
